TITLE: ACT MICA Specialist

SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
The ACT MICA Specialist provides direct, intensive screening and treatment to mentally ill chemical abusing individuals accepted into the ACT Program. The MICA Specialist provides both one-to-one and group modality treatment as well as crisis intervention. The MICA Specialist develops and implements treatment plans providing direct clinical services in a variety of modalities, with focus on chemical dependency intervention, and participates in crisis intervention strategies.

Summary of Duties:
The MIS Clinical Administrator will be responsible for all aspects of Lake Shore’s Anasazi system and will provide support to the Management Team through the maintenance, analysis, and reporting of data residing in the Anasazi databases. The Administrator will develop, coordinate and direct Anasazi training for the Agency and be responsible for the development and subsequent revision of assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans in the Anasazi system. The Administrator will mentor and monitor clinical staff in regard to the effective use of the Anasazi system and ensure all clinical documentation fulfills the license requirements of the respective programs.

Required knowledge and skills:
- Knowledge of electronic clinical record systems, preferably Anasazi Software.
- Ability to relate to and train clinical staff to utilize a complex electronic record with sensitivity to their needs as clinical practitioners.
