Lighthouse Women's Residenece

The Lighthouse is a residential substance abuse treatment facility for pregnant and parenting women and their children. In addition to intensive substance abuse treatment and rehabilitation, the program provides parenting, recreational, and vocational services. At the Lighthouse, women receive treatment in a structured and nurturing environment. A comprehensive range of supportive services and activities for the children is available.

Length of Program:
Up to 12 months depending on the woman's clinical status and progress.

General Referral Criteria:
for the mother...

  • 18 years or older
  • Diagnosis of substance dependence disorder
  • Pregnant or parenting with child(ren) in custody / or parenting responsibilities
  • History of prior treatment
  • Psychiatric stability
  • Expresses desire for recovery
for the children...
  • Eleven years or younger
  • A recent physical examination and documented up-to-date immunizations
  • Emotional and mental ability to participate in a structured program
