Personalized Recovery Oriented Services (PROS) is a new category of licensed programs developed by the NYS Office of Mental Health. The purpose of the PROS licensed programs is to assist individuals in recovering from the disabling effects of serious mental illness through the coordinated delivery of a customized array of rehabilitation, treatment and support services. PROS participants obtain professional support and direction as they pursue their goals of living, learning, working and socializing. Participants learn new skills to achieve their goals and maintain employment.
