Individuals recovering from a mental illness or substance abuse problem, often have a goal of finding meaningful work. Lake Shore Behavioral Health offers vocational services for individuals interested in finding and keeping employment in the community. Individuals develop and achieve an employment goal. Individuals are linked to NYS Office of Vocational and Educational Services for Individuals with Disabilities (VESID) for vocational planning and may select from the following service options:

• Job training in office technology and hospitality services (food service and janitorial)
• Career selection
• Individualized Job Development and Placement
• Job coaching (on-the-job training)
• Vocational case management
• Employment support
